South Carolina Division Society of American Foresters 2017 Meeting
|
A pre-conference Leadership Workshop for developing leadership skills for foresters will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Clemson Pee Dee Research & Education Center. 5.5 hours of CFE credits have been assigned to this workshop.
The Appalachian Society of American Foresters, South Carolina Division’s 2017 Summer Meeting will focus on Why Not Wood - Just Ask For It: Opportunities for increasing wood use in commercial construction. The technical session on Thursday, June 15, 2017, will review opportunities for improving lumber demand by increasing use of wood in commercial building construction. A wide range of topics will be covered including new innovations in engineered wood products and building design, wood-related building code issues, and the potential impact on lumber demand and forest management.
